The lamp looks beautiful as expected and the construction is great. The only issue with the lamp is where the lamp base attaches to the lamp, it is loose and when the wind blows, the lamp wobbles on the pole. There is no way to tighten it, so just don't look at it when it's windy.I bought this light for my sons room. We have an older home and the ceilings are not very high. I wanted a light that added interest but wasn't going to hang too low. Overall I really like the fixture, it fits the theme of the room well and has a masculine feel, which is great for a boys room. It has a sturdy feel and was very easy to install. It takes 2 light bulbs. The bottom of the fixture is open... I currently have two CFL light bulbs in but I ordered a set of vintage bulbs. Because the bottom is open, the light bulbs become a focal point of the fixture, so I want to go with bulbs that look nice. Overall I am happy with the light fixture. It was delivered quicker than expected.We love this light. It's beautiful and made with excellent craftsmanship. After 2.5 years in a coastal climate, it looks good as new. I contacted customer service a couple times over small parts I lost, and they were super.All the parts you need for the install are supplied, including an adjustable crossbar. The rubber washers that go under the mounting nuts are a thoughtful touch - they keep water out and protect the finish from scratches.After much searching for outdoor deck lighting for our colonial style house, I took a chance on these. I was a little concerned that the quality would not be as I generally think you get what you pay for. These are beautiful and a high quality light. I am not sure why a reviewer would say they were flimsy or cheap looking. The glass dome had no scratches and was a nice weight. The metal fixture/lamp was of sufficient hardness that it would not bend or be scratched. The quality of the details looked like the Amazon image and didn't have sharp or unshapely edges. These are a very nice looking light. My husband installed this in 15 minutes and said it was just like any other lighting installation. This was a great purchase.Great looking light. I really like the way the light looks. A couple things to consider with it: It does project light directly across the ceiling, so if you have any lumps or bumps in your ceiling that you don’t want emphasized this might not be for you. Secondly, the lightbulbs are exposed on the underside. Positives are that it has a nice finish to it and a look of quality. I really enjoy the fact that it looks somewhat nautical.These should last quite a while.Great looking nautical themed outdoor light. Instructions were very clear and well written. Lantern came in very good packaging with all parts well packaged against damage and enough screws, and end covers for install. Easy installation too - took less than 20 minutes and it looks wonderful near our front door. Does not come with bulb.This light looks great. Made of metal an likely painted, I think an antique brown. Glass globe instead of plastic. Easy install. I think it takes about 15 min. to install this light. Bulb replacement is very easy too. Great product.These lamps are gorgeous. The picture does not do it justice. They enhanced our place and look very solid. One of them was broken upon arrival and we had no hassle returning and getting another one.This light is very large and heavy, very good value for the money. Pity I only needed 1Much bigger than expected, and very heavy duty. Extremely impressed with this light, it looks great!These are beautiful.
